I’m Alex Wikle, a composer, audio engineer, and sound designer with a deep interest in music, technology, and storytelling. Originally from Southern California and now working between California and Berlin, I’ve built my creative path around sound—from composing original scores and producing artist releases to recording, editing, mixing, mastering, and creating audio for film, digital media, and live performance.

My work combines technical precision with a strong instinct for emotion, atmosphere, and pacing. I’m experienced in music composition, studio recording, dialogue editing, sound design, ambience, Foley, audio post-production, live sound, and final mix delivery. Whether I’m developing a cinematic score, shaping sound for picture, refining a vocal performance, balancing a complex mix, or engineering a live session, I focus on creating audio that feels clear, immersive, and connected to the story.

I’ve worked across independent film, artist releases, commercial and promotional audio, music production, and live performance. I’m comfortable managing a project from early concept and recording through editing, mixing, mastering, and final delivery for streaming, vinyl, theatrical, and digital platforms. I enjoy collaborating with filmmakers, musicians, directors, and creative teams, helping turn ideas into polished work with care, flexibility, and a strong sense of musicality.
